The Ensemble Assonance was formed in 2017 in Yerevan, Armenia as a unique group primarily aimed at the performance of lesser-known works of contemporary and classical music. The main mission of the ensemble is familiarizing the Armenian audience with the current developments of the international music scene.
The ensemble consists of well-known local performers whose professional experience makes it possible to represent a wide array of musical styles. The collaboration with educational institutions and festivals as well as the promotion of the new music are among the main goals of the ensemble.
The Assonance is a resident ensemble at the international festival "Crossroads" Contemporary music days in Armenia by QuarterTone.
